BSS – Dogtags Vietnam Update 11-8-07

It’s been some days since the last update but today we want to show you some pictures by our concept artist and of the armory.

We’ve also decided that there’ll be 4 factions, though they’ll be only playable in the multiplayer.
Each faction will have a different gameplay of warfare. We want to implement an inventory which allows you to customize your character’s weapons similiar to a role playing game (of course without attributes).
Here counts the more you carry around, the slower you get.

The Vietcong, for example, will get invisibility clothing instead of vests.
Probably we tell you more the sooner or later.

The homepage for Crack Designs is offline due to rework, but we are working to get the site for Dogtags Vietnam ready soon.

Factions:

-South Vietnam
-USA

-North Vietnam
-FNL

Last but not least a Concept Art!

Furthermore we want to point out that we are still searching for members.
We would be glad to welcome new coders, modelers, 2D artists and sound artists.

BSS – GAMEOVER Update

Such attributes reinforced through the marginal size are indispensable for an armored weaponsystem, which serves the KSK (Special Forces Command) as a support vehicel.

The possibility, to transport the “Wiesel” per helicopter or aircraft makes it additionaly more popular as it is anyway. To transport the “Wiesel” via air is also a planned feature for the modification.

„Our“ KSK team made an excellent special training for driving, handling and service for the “Wiesel” which will surely be needed in their missions.

Model by Ivan

Three versions of this little tank are planned for the multiplayer:

“Wiesel 1″ with a 20mm chaingun
which is useful against infantry, light armored vehicles, helicopter and maybe deep-flying aircrafts

“Wiesel 1″ with TOW-rocketlauncher against tanks

“Wiesel 2″ with FIM-92 Stinger-rocketlauncher against helicopters and aircrafts

If the “Wiesel 1″ and “Wiesel 2″ will has its mission in singleplayer-mode too thats not sure enough but in the multiplayer it will certainly illustrate a highly tactical component if it has to assert itsself with speed and agility against the big and heavy vehicle of the mercenaries…

Be anxious for further updates in the next weeks!
