But in the upcoming release they will be new content: The British.

Thanks to the wide-area cooperation with Project Reality we were allowed to port their British fraction to OPK.

Distributed over the last year TASS was working on the British Army alongside his normal work. And now we have reached a milestone in putting them into OPK.

In the upcoming release The British Army will be able to use all Infantry Weapons:

The pistols L9 and L226, the Assaultrilfe L85A2 in different Versions, the Carbine L119A1 (Diemaco C8SFW), the Machinepistol MP5 by Heckler & Koch,

the sniperrifle L115A1, the light support weapon L86, the Grenade L109 and some more useful equipment.

Due to the large amount of thing we want to show you we want to dispense more details and let the pictures speak:

We discussed a long time to get a solution and decide that this kind of weapon is useful. We took a look around and checked many weapons who are produced by the Zastava Arms Company. we found the M72 with a large magazine. The M72 will replace the M84 machinegun in the basic class.Our coder nightmare is working on the balance between the different weapons. Every weapon should get an own feeling. So it´s important for us that the community can feel the difference between the light and heavy machine guns.

At the moment our daily business is to get the final settings for the classes and weapons for OPK 0.25. Be sure you will get first ingame impressions of these weapons soon!

The new version is wholeheartedly an aeronautical update. But we haven´t forgot the infantrymen or tankdrivers…

1.The OPK-equipment:

Stationary Weapons: 2

We added a great number of small and large statics, some of them are destroybale now.

And sure, a battlefield needs vehicles, Tornado IDS and J22 ORAO with their original armament are avaible now. If you ever dreamed of carpet bombing, you can do it NOW. The next addition is the veteran of the helicopters, the UH1D “Huey”. The KFOR Spec OP gets a new toy, the G36c. The sniper get a P12 USP tactical.

2. OPK Monistari Zogosije:

Many new maps have been announced in the last weeks and months. 3 are missing, one is delayed and the last one is included today: Monistari Zogosije.
An awesome piece of architecture, made by Meister Z. Enterable buildings which must be defended by the serbian forces with dark dangerous sewers and destroyable doors.

The KFOR mission, supported by the new “UH-ID Huey” is to conquer the monastery.

3.RELEASE 0.2

IMPORTANT: PLEASE DELETE THE OLD “OPK” FOLDER! (battelfield2/mods/). The installer will create a new folder named “OPK2″.

Sadly, we already found a bug in the installer. Please change the “Run at” entry in the start-menu-shortcut from “\Battlefield2\Mods\OPK\Settings” to “\Battlefield2″. We are sorry for this mistake.
