Hello all, As we planned, we are back to release the server files and passworded torrents. One note for admins: You can?t mix maps with different game modes on a single map list. All maps listed should be under a single gamemode. When listing coop or rush, be sure to set the maps to ?map name_16′. This does not mean it?s a 16 player version, each map is different. The client exe and password for the torrents will be given out on Friday the 2nd. You can find all the links at our download page. Now for some ingame shots of some menu changes,

Hello all, this is the update to get everyone fired up for USI. Fragfest III went great and much thanks to all who joined us for some fun. Version.15 is all fixed up and ready to go, so this update includes our change log and our release plan. Version .15 will be a full install, no patch was made since we put in so much work. At the moment the build stands at around 1.8 gigs, but much worth it due to 13 maps and so many toys to play with. Server files should be available on Wed the 31st for all servers planning to run USI. Server admins— we request you post server info on our forums to let folks know whether a certain server is server side modded or not. This will help posting of bugs. We do not support server side modding but we also don’t mind if servers do at your own risk. Admins can post their info here, http://blacksandstudio.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=66. Our tentative date for release of the client files should be Friday, the 2nd or early Saturday the 3rd. A passworded Torrent should be available when the server files are ready. At this time we are looking for hosts for torrents and mirrors, all interested should contact Guedoe on BSS, just send him a pm and once the client is ready, he will provide a link to grab the files. We hope this release will be alot better than our first which crashed almost every server that helped out. Here is the changelog.

We appreciate the patience to all who have waited so long for this release. We also plan to patch very often with fixes for issues found while playing, so be sure to give us your feed back. Again, server files and passworded torrent on weds and the full client on fri/sat.

Project Reality v0.7 Media Update

Project Reality is moving to Crysis… just kidding! Although a lot of new games are coming out right now, we firmly believe that Project Reality is still one of the best team-oriented FPS’s on the market. We never had the masses in mind, but rather the players who are attracted to teamwork, community and good times in general. It is evident that Project Reality is becoming stronger with every release due to the amount of players online as well as the quality and depth of our mod. Our next release, 0.7, is well underway and we thought it was time to show you some of the exciting things we’ve been working on.

First off, we have some in-game screenshots of the British main battle tank, the Challenger 2, doesn’t it look good?

If that’s not enough, we also have the British Scimitar, an armored recon vehicle which dates back to the Falklands and will serve you guys well in Project Reality.


Last but not least, we figured we’d show you some of the new 0.7 maps. The first, a Muttrah remake, is being built from scratch off local maps and detailed photography. As you can see, the mosque is what you could call a replica. This remake will see more APCs and possibly some new toys to fly around with! Marines, be ready to take the port!

The second map, Fools Road is what people have been waiting for, a large map forcing the British and local Militia into a ground battle. The map will boast vast landscapes and beautiful scenery, just don’t lose sight of that enemy squad behind the tree line!

BSS - GAMEOVER Update

Such attributes reinforced through the marginal size are indispensable for an armored weaponsystem, which serves the KSK (Special Forces Command) as a support vehicel.

The possibility, to transport the “Wiesel” per helicopter or aircraft makes it additionaly more popular as it is anyway. To transport the “Wiesel” via air is also a planned feature for the modification.

„Our“ KSK team made an excellent special training for driving, handling and service for the “Wiesel” which will surely be needed in their missions.

Three versions of this little tank are planned for the multiplayer:

“Wiesel 1″ with a 20mm chaingun
which is useful against infantry, light armored vehicles, helicopter and maybe deep-flying aircrafts

“Wiesel 1″ with TOW-rocketlauncher against tanks

“Wiesel 2″ with FIM-92 Stinger-rocketlauncher against helicopters and aircrafts

If the “Wiesel 1″ and “Wiesel 2″ will has its mission in singleplayer-mode too thats not sure enough but in the multiplayer it will certainly illustrate a highly tactical component if it has to assert itsself with speed and agility against the big and heavy vehicle of the mercenaries…

OPK #25 SERVERFILES: Hotfix

We discovered two bugs on two maps “Code Bravo” and “Red on Eleven” which are crashing the server.

We are sorry for that problem and beg all SERVERADMINS to install this small update on their servers.
Thank you for playing and downloading OPK, we hope all our fans will enjoy playing opk for a long time.

There is no need for our players to install this FIX on your PC.
